Lyrics

Help Me Papa
Written by Pam Mark Hall

When will my heart every mend
I cry the blues that never end
Like a meteor quickly I descend
And grieve the stars left in the sky
Is she with angels can she fly
Was she frightened when she died

Help Me Papa
To understand this tragedy
These thorns in my roses on the vine
I still wonder
Why You allowed such evil
Steal away this child of mine

I still hold her inside of me
Baptized in tears of my agony
I should let her rest in peace
I should let her go, give her release
But I keep waiting, hope to hear
Her laughter and her song so sweet and clear

Help Me Papa
To understand this tragedy
These thorns in my roses on the vine
I still wonder
Why You allowed such evil
Steal away this child of mine

Please explain every thread of this tapestry
As they twist, turn and weave their dark design
Shine Your light through the colors I can’t see
My grief has left me weak and blind
